Dougherty County- Looking for a wanted woman, Sheriff's Deputies found instead more than $6,000 dollars worth of marijuana.

Dougherty County deputies found almost two pounds of marijuana in the bedroom of a home on Keystone Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

They were in the home looking for the granddaughter of Louise Frazier Jones. The officers spotted Jones trying to hide the drugs in the bedroom.

"Having smelled the marijuana, they knew there was marijuana in the house when they entered to search for the subject," said Lt. Craig Dodd, with Dougherty County Sheriff's Office. "Her movements she made told the officers she was trying to hide something which is something you look for when you enter a house."

Jones is being held in the Dougherty County jail on drug charges.
