Thomasville - Dixie bikers are made up of a group from Grady, Thomas, and Lowndes County. On Saturday they'll be riding in a twilight poker run to benefit the Halcyon Home in Thomasville, a shelter for battered women and children.

Rider Mike Maxwell says, "We think it's important to help the communities that we live in and we enjoy riding and having a good time and when we found out about this cause, about four years ago, it just sounded like the perfect way to go out and do a good thing."

All you need to participate in the poker run is a motorcycle, $8 and one canned food item. Registration begins at 4:30 tomorrow at the Kawasaki dealership in Thomasville.
