Albany- If you're already missing American Idol, you can check out a music competition for the next 8 weeks at the Albany Mall.
FYE's Party Tyme Karaoke kicked off Thursday night.
Every Thursday at 7 p.m. for the next 8 weeks, you can compete to go to a national karaoke contest.
Celebrity judges will tell you what you're doing right or wrong. The audience gets a vote too, with quarters that will benefit the Children's Miracle Network. "
"There's no money involved, but we're giving back to a charity that's definitely given of themselves plenty," said Kris Morrill, with FYE.
The national competition will be aired on Entertainment Television.
