Albany -- Dougherty County District Attorney Ken Hodges wins a state award for helping crime victims.
Hodges was awarded the Eagle Award from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council in Atlanta. Hodges won the prosecutor award from the group for his "outstanding support of the victims of crime."
Hodges has improved the victim services division of his office from one worker to four and started a 24-hour victim crisis phone line.
