Albany-- Dougherty-Lee County Relay for Life teams exceed their goal by $15,000.
Despite downpours that kept volunteers from walking, more than 40 teams raised $130,000 for the American Cancer Society. The walk-a-thon was at Darton College on April 30th. Coordinators say the relay is growing each year in teams and money.
Last year, Dougherty-Lee County teams raised $104,000.
