Moultrie - The Georgia Supreme Court denies an appeal for a convicted murderer from Moultrie.

Willie Jerome Williams is serving time for shooting and killing 23-year-old Classie Patillo, the mother of his child.

Williams shot her in front of their 10-month-old daughter in January 2002.

After the trial in Moultrie, Williams' family hired an attorney from Atlanta claiming his initial attorney was ineffective.

Williams was sentenced to life, plus five years.
