ASU hosts enrichment program

May 24, 2004

Albany- College juniors and seniors from all over the country are spending six weeks on the Albany State University campus learning about the medical field.

During the Summer Junior Enrichment Program the students will tour medical facilities across the state.

"We do have health care professionals within the community that will be coming out, talking with the students on what it's like to be a physician, or what it's like to be a nurse practitioner," says Program Coordinator, Elizabeth Lovett.

Students will also shadow nurse practitioners and work to improve their test-taking and interview skills.
