Albany- Congressman Sanford Bishop met Monday at Albany Tech with representatives from Southwest Georgia Family Connections offices.

The community action program focuses on providing families with educational, health, and social resources.

"We want to have this meeting to listen to them and find out just how our office can be more helpful in helping them to do things that they do to make life better for the people in our area," says Bishop.

Bishop says he will work to ensure the future of the program in Georgia.
