Tifton- A note found in the girl's bathroom at the Northeast Campus of Tift County High School threatened violent acts on 10 female students on the last day of school.

Principal Reginald Phillips turned the note over to police as evidence even though he says it was just a hoax.

"It was something that we considered severe and serious, however, this time of the year we get a lot of those type things so, even though we were alarmed about it I felt that we had everything under control," he says.

Police say the origin of the note is still unknown, but believe it was written to create attention.
