Ochlocknee - Around 3:00AM Thursday, Thomas County drug agents were watching a fertilizer plant in Ochlocknee. That's when they saw 28-year-old Timothy Swymer trying to steal anhydrous ammonia.

He heard the officers and began to run. As he was running, he stripped down to his underwear. Officers caught up to Swymer and arrested him, but before they took him to jail, they took him to the hospital. Swymer ran through a field of cacti while trying to escape from the officers.

Narcotics Commander Guy Winkelmann says, "When it becomes a problem that they're stealing it, then that becomes our problem and we set up surveillance on these plants to catch these people like we did last night."

Investigators think Swymer was probably high on methamphetamine when he disrobed. He has been charged with possession of anhydrous ammonia and criminal trespass in the first degree. He is being held at the Thomas County Jail.
