Mitchell County--Some South Georgian Children found out what it's like to be a farmer. More than 300 Mitchell County fourth graders participated in the Farm Bureau's annual AG day program. The students saw animals up close and learned how the food they eat everyday gets to the table.

"Start in they younger grades to teach ag in the class in the class room so they know what farming actually is instead of just going to the grocery store," says Wanda Faircloth of the Farm Bureau.

This is the fourth year of the Ag Day program.
