Americus-- A South Georgia organization, known for building homes around the world, wants to help rebuild Iraq.

Habitat for Humanity is expanding into Iraq, but it's unclear exactly when that will happen.

Vice President for Communications, Chris Clarke, says "We wouldn't be there in a war. Now is not the right time to be in a country like Iraq, but rather a time when we can be successful when things have settled down. A time where we can go in and work with the constituents there in a stable environment."

Habitat for Humanity will announce next month plans to expand into eight more countries.

Habitat workers are in 92 countries now.
