Valdosta - Police are investigating a suspicious death at a motel over the weekend.

Thirty-seven year old Gabreil Capistran was found dead in his room at the Del Mar Motel early Sunday morning. The clerk says he and a woman checked in the night before. When police arrived, they couldn't find the woman or Capistran's car.

"There were no signs of trauma from what the crime scene personnel could see, but we are doing an autopsy because they guy's 37 years old and the family indicated to us that he had no medical history," said Lt. Brian Childress.

Capistran's car was found abandoned Monday afternoon on Tomlinson Drive.
