Tifton-- People in Tifton walked Saturday to help a ten year old boy fighting a deadly form of cancer.
In April we told you about ten year old Joe William Sheffield. Since his diagnose with lymphoma last year there has been an out pouring of community support for Joe.
This morning friends of his family held a 5-k walk in his honor. The money raised will go to Camp Sun Shine, a retreat for children with cancer. Joe's mother says she is thankful for her son's improving health.
The 80 people who signed up for Saturdays walk helped raise more than $630 for camp SunShine.
