Albany- 32 year old Manswell Peterson held a rally in Albany Saturday.

The Albany-native says his campaign will be focused solely on grassroots support. If elected he pledges to improve the state's education system and bring more jobs to South Georgia.

"People who make $10,000 a year or whether you make a million dollars a year, everyone needs a representative. It's doesn't matter how much you make or how much you do, but you have to have the heart of the people and that's what's important and they understand this now and we're building momentum with this," he says.

Peterson is just one of four candidates for house district 151. Incumbent Representative Lawrence Roberts, retired teacher Freddie Sims, and attorney Phil Cannon have also qualified for the position.
