Moultrie - A new police chief is getting to know the community.
Chief Frank Lang is the new Moultrie Police Chief. He has been in office for two weeks.
Lang replaced Chief Mike Boyd who moved to Gwinnett County to be a chief deputy. Lang says, "Moultrie is a department that's nationally and state certified, so there's not a need to come in and make any household changes, what I'm basically doing at this point is learning the operation as it is."
Lang was a former Albany Police officer and a Police Chief in Thomaston, Georgia.
