River Town Days

May 14, 2004

Bainbridge - Crews were busy preparing for the inaugural event that will include live entertainment, an alligator show, remote-control boat races and a barbecue cook off. Organizers say they hope the event attracts new visitors to Bainbridge.

Director Keith Lyle says, "We wanted to highlight the good things about Bainbridge and the aspects of the river and what it brings to our community, and give folks a lot to do."

Most events are free and will be held at the Earle May boat basin park beginning at 8 AM and lasting through 10 PM.
