Camilla - A former Mitchell County EMC employee is indicted on theft charges.

Karen Denise Hicks of Camilla is accused of stealing more than 59-thousand dollars over a three year period. Prosecutors say Hicks pocketed customers payments.

Hicks left Mitchell EMC at the end of last year.

Her trial is expected to be in July.
