    Ravi Mikel Givens was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He is being held in the Dougherty County jail. Givens, who played ball at Westover and Stetson
    Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.

Thomasville - The Scott Senior Center in Thomasville is open five days a week for seniors ranging from age 60 up. The center provide meals, arts and grafts and, most importantly, fellowship with one another.

Senator John Bulloch says Seniors helped paved the way for today. He says, "It's just a great opportunity for us to pay tribute to those that have gotten us where we are today, because each generation is what brings the next generation on."

The Scott Senior Center opened in 1997. It serves approximately 50 senior citizens everyday.
