Fortunately that is not the case for two members of the Westover girls basketball team that made it all the way to the AAA final four this year.

Westover guard Noel Mathis had offers from Norfolk State, FAMU and Ft. Valley State and was also asked to visit LSU.

Albany State coach Robert Skinner is glad to sign the most valuable player on the Lady Patriots team who led Westover in assists and was second on the team in scoring and rebounding.
