NAACP to hold vigil

May 3, 2004

Fitzgerald- Members of the Ben Hill County NAACP say they don't like the fact that Fitzgerald High School principal David Mims is under investigation for buying a degree on-line.

They also say black students are treated unfairly, and the faculty is not diverse enough.

The NAACP and concerned citizens plan to hold a prayer vigil May 11th before the next school board meeting to call attention to their concerns.
