Valdosta - Hundreds of Shriners are coming to South Georgia this weekend.

The state Shriners and Daughters of Isis conference is being held at the Elks Lodge in Valdosta. More than 300 people are expected to attend. "We get together for friendship and comradery, to review the things we've done this year and to reward those individuals who've worked hard in their respective oasis," said Charlie Harges, Shriner.

Friday night, the shriners will host a talent show, followed by a parade and gala ball Saturday night.
