Augusta- The Deerfield-Windsor girls tennis team is celebrating their first state title in six years.

The Lady Knights beat defending state champion Augusta Prep 3-2 in the finals in Augusta this afternoon.

Terrell Academy made it to the finals in AA where the Lady Eagles finish second in the state to Heritage.

Last week, Terrell Academy's Anna Faust won the AA state singles title.
