The Tifton Big Brother/Big Sister program needs your support this summer.

The group is looking for 50 people over the age 16 to be big brothers and big sisters for at risk children. The commitment only means about an hour of your time a week, but can mean so much more for the children you mentor.

"They're just so glad to have someone to come to their school and say 'hey how is your school day going' or 'how is school going' it's good for them to know someone cares," says Christy Saylor program manager for Big Brother and Big Sister in Tifton.

If you are interested in signing up you can call the Big Brother/ Big Sister interest group hotline at 229-392-5090.
