Albany- For many students, Darton College is just the beginning of a great college career.

Tuesday night, Darton honored them for academic achievement and service.

Dougherty County Police Chief Donald Cheek applauded the students who make the most of their time at Darton.

"The difference in the possible and the impossible lies in a person's determination," Cheek said. "You've obviously made what may at one time been impossible dreams turn into reality, so it is possible. "

Darton also honored outstanding faculty member.
