Albany -- Evonne Mull was the first Democratic candidate in Dougherty County to qualify Monday morning.

She was elected the Clerk of Superior Court in 2000.

Her first term in office has seen state laws cause dramatic changes in the technology they use. Mull said "We've done a lot of things, and we still have a lot of things to do. But I have a fantastic staff. They work hard, and I work hard, and we seem to get it done."

Mull is now working on a new web site that will bring more public access to the Dougherty County Clerk's office. Her office was chosen as the test site for the state.
