House of 100 Roses

April 21, 2004

Thomasville -The Lapham-Patterson House will host tours through what's called the "House of 100 roses" this weekend as part of the Thomasville Rose Festival. They're actually working to arrange more than 500 of the flowers.

Curator Cheryl Walters says, "In every single room, there will be roses. Red roses, yellow roses, pink roses, every kind of rose. It will smell like roses. And it will just look gorgeous. The house is at its loveliest in the spring."

The Lapham-Patterson house will be open for hourly tours Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
