Albany --Albany Police are still trying to figure out why two masked gunmen burst into laughter during a robbery and left without taking anything.

Three people sitting on a front porch on Jeffries Avenue Monday night were confronted by the men. One of them was armed with a pistol, the other with a shotgun.

The victims said the men ordered them inside. Then suddenly the men started laughing and ran out the back door.

Police have no idea what tickled the would-be robbers, but if they're caught it won't be a laughing matter. They'll be charged with aggravated assault.
