Colquitt County - A south Georgia high school makes history.

Colquitt County High School students collected the most pints of blood in the state during one single blood drive.

On Saint Patrick's Day, out of 322 donors, they ended up with 299 good productive units.

The six hour blood drive was a part of a community project for Skills USA VICA.

Right now, Colquitt County High School tops the state, but other high schools are having blood drives throughout the year.

Statesboro beat Colquitt County last year by only 26 units.
