Fitzgerald- Fitzgerald Police Officers Michael Brooks, Barrett Parr and Allen Pope were patrolling a car dealership nearly two months ago when they noticed the key in the door of a pick up truck.
Chief Bill Smallwood says the officers took the truck for a ride. They are all three suspended without pay for ten days, and Pope has been demoted from Sergeant to patrolman.
The car dealership is not pressing criminal charges.
