Albany- Covenant Presbyterian Church dedicated it's new Activity center Sunday.

The 15,000 square foot addition is equipped with a full sized indoor basketball court, a choir room and, several classrooms. The new wing was designed to resemble the existing church structure.

"I was very pleased with the matching of the stone even though it's been 30 years since anything was done around here," says contractor Jeff Brown.

"We see this new activity center as really a way in which we can support our mission work in the Albany community. We hope to make a difference and open it up and use it in a variety of ways," says Pastor Dr. William Coker.

The church has been working on the expansion for more than three years and says the activity center will be used be nearly all 430 of its members.
