Bainbridge - The GBI is investigating an alleged assault on April 1st at the District Attorney's office in Bainbridge.
69-year old Walter Rayborn of Tallahassee, Florida went to the District Attorney's office in Bainbridge and asked Brown Moseley to prosecute a case concerning a land purchase from 5 years ago.
When Moseley told him he didn't think he had a case, the two got into an argument. Mr. Moseley then asked Mr. Rayborn to leave.
According to an incident report with the Decatur County Sheriff's office, that's when Rayborn claims District Attorney Brown Moseley attempted to throw Rayborn down the stairs of the office.
No charges have been filed against Mr. Moseley who says the allegations are "absolute garbage, and the investigation will prove that."
