Lowndes County - A South Georgia woman was found murdered in a cemetery Thursday morning.

Berrien County investigators got a tip Wednesday night that the woman had been killed and left in Antioch Cemetery off Antioch Church Road. They found her body buried under a pile of leaves.

The exact cause of death is unknown, but it looks like her throat had been cut. Authorities believe they know the identity of the woman, but that name has not been released. Sheriff Jerry Brogdon believes she had been there for several days.  "Her body was badly decomposed and we don't have an exact date of when this murder took place but we're thinking it was sometime over this past weekend," said Brodgon.

Three people are in custody and are being questioned about the murder. Investigators believe it was drug related.
