Alice Louise Page Hayes, 76 of Albany died Monday, at Palmyra Nursing Home. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at Kimbrell-Stern with interment at Floral Memory Gardens. Mrs. Pennianne Riggs will officiate.
A native of Colquitt County, Mrs. Hayes grew up in Albany, moved away for an extended period, and returned to Albany in 1986. She was a member of the Manhattan Baptist Church in Tampa, FL and an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lowell Hayes, and her parents, William Thomas and Jimmie Gill Hayes.
Survivors include two daughters, Vickie Hanson of Tampa, FL, Sharon Lumpkin of Smyrna, GA, a son, Kenneth Brown of Sumter, SC, six step-children, Jimmy Hayes, Jeff Hayes, Chantal Frazier, Brenda Arnold, all of Tampa, FL, Marie Gonzalez, of Plant City, FL, Chaterina Hayes of Albany, three brothers, Rayford C. Page and his wife Roslyn of Ashburn, Thomas P. Page and his wife Joan of Monticello, IN, James W. Page and his wife Margaret of Plattsburgh, NY, three sisters, Linda S. Eubanks of Albany, Brenda L. Sanders and her husband C. L. of Millbrook, AL, Patricia A. Bence and her husband Jimmy of Leesburg, several grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
