Bikers rev up to save lives

April 10, 2004

Albany - Some South Georgia motorcycle riders rev up their engines to help fight cancer. Dozens of bikers drove through Albany, Leesburg, Americus, and Sylvester to raise money for the American Cancer Society's upcoming Relay for Life. The Phoebe Cancer Center organized this first annual Poker Run. The Relay for Life is April 30th. Last year, the walk raised about $100,000 for cancer research.
