Eighteen-year-old Paul Louis Beckman of Leesburg died of chest and head injuries after he lost control of this K-5 blazer.
It happened around three Wednesday morning on Georgia 91 North in Miller County. The blazer overturned and Beckman was ejected. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The passenger, 16-year-old Chelsey Hopewell, was wearing a seat belt and survived with minor injuries.
Troopers believe Beckman fell asleep at the wheel. He was following a group of friends after a day trip to Panama City Beach.
