Valdosta - A local business was held up at gunpoint Wednesday morning.

Two masked men with guns robbed Parker's Furniture on Bemiss Road around 8:45. They made the owner lie on the ground while they grabbed the money.

"The suspects are two African-American males, they were armed with pistils, we do know that they had a hood over them and some sort of clothing to cover their faces," said Lt. Brian Childress.

Police are using tracking dogs in the search for the suspects.

No one else was in the store at the time of the robbery.
