Albany-- It's almost time for Georgia political candidates to officially sign up to run. The Dougherty County Democratic Party is asking for candidates to qualify at the party secretary's office.
That's Tommy Chambless at 320 Residence Avenue. Qualifying runs from April 26th to April 28th. Dougherty County offices on the ballot include three County Commission seats, Sheriff, Clerk of Court, Coroner, and three seats on the school board.
Anyone planning to run for State, Probate, or Superior Court Judge or District attorney will have to qualify in Atlanta.
