Albany- Saturday was the final day for the annual Pennies for Puppies campaign.

Dozens of people stopped by Albany Bank and Trust to donate their extra change to the Humane Society, including a young Sunday school class from Trinity Lutheran Church. The four and five year olds were able to collect 3,000 pennies.

The humane society hasn't tallied up the total yet, but they say they've already surpassed their goal of one million pennies.
