Tifton- The 2004 Arts in Black Festival is devoted to highlighting the contributions of African-Americans in art, culture, and music.
Events include art exhibits, concerts, a talent show, and a number of activities for children.
"This is not just for African Americans. It's for all cultures, so they can understand and get a feel for what some of the ancestors have done and the people of today, what our people are doing," says festival coordinator, Ricky Dollison.
This is the 20th year for the festival. Most events will be at Fulwood Park, and the event will run through Sunday afternoon.
