Albany--Saturday is typically moving day on the NGA Hooters Tour and Todd Bailey, with his bag packed full of birdies, was definitely on the go during the third round of the Michelob Ultra Classic at Stonebridge Country Club.
Bailey posted an 8 under 64 to catapult to the top of the the leaderboard at 18 under par for the tourney and in sole possession of the lead. Bailey is one stroke ahead of second round leader Bubba Dickerson who fired a 4 under 68.
Bailey, a native of Spanish Fort, Alabama, rolled in nine birdies during Saturday's third round to climb to the top of the leaderboard. Bailey will tee off at 9:40 a.m. in Sunday's final round along with Dickerson and former University of Georgia star David Miller.
Miller followed up his 8 under 64 on Friday with a 4 under 68 on Saturday to move into a tie for third place at 16 under par with Tyler Williamson.
The round of the day belonged to Strongsville, Ohio native Chris Wollmann who fired a 10 under 62. Wollmann moves into a three way tie for eighth at 14 under par with Sylvester native Sonny Skinner and Blake Adams.
Skinner followed Friday's 6 under 66 with another 66 on Saturday. He'll tee off at 9:20 a.m. on Sunday.
