R-C's Williams is coach of the year in Georgia

Atlanta- Randolph-Clay's Joe Williams has been named boys high school basketball coach of the year in the state of Georgia by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.

Williams earns the honor after he took the Red Devils to a perfect 32-0 record and the AA state title- the first for the Red Devils in 18 years.

It has been an historic season for the long time coach who also during the 2003-04 season won his 900th career game.
