Thomasville - Police are looking for a man they think kidnapped a woman and beat a man in Thomasville Monday morning.

Jose Martinez Cruze was beaten with a baseball bat at Baytree Estates in Thomasville.

Police believe 34-year-old Alberto Cruze beat Jose and then kidnapped his ex-wife, 19-year-old Jennifer Lee Crews.

Thomasville Police Lt. Mark Scott says, "We are assuming she's in danger and she has been taken against her will and we are proceeding on that basis."

Alberto Cruze often drives a white work truck, but police don't know if he was in that truck.

If you have any information call Thomasville Police Department.
