Grady County - Droves of Florida drivers are making the trip across the state line to buy cheaper gas in Georgia. A Beachton gas station was packed Monday with Floridians. On average, gas is nearly $.20 a gallon more in Florida than in Georgia.

"We come up here all the time," said Tallahassee resident Bill Hodges. "It's usually $.15 or so cheaper than in Tallahassee."

Georgia's gas prices are about $.15 lower than the national average, thanks to lower gas taxes and the proximity of pipelines used to transport the fuel which saves on trucking costs.
