Albany -- Eight people, all 20 years old or younger, were injured Friday night in a two-car head-on crash in Albany.
18-year-old Cheryl Mosley was driving this Honda with three teenage passengers on Newton Road about midnight Friday, when she crashed head-on with this Ford Escort. The Escort, driven by 20-year-old Kimberly Horton, also had three passengers. The cars collided head-on when they entered the center turn lane, both drivers intending to turn left.
All eight people had to be cut from the cars. All were between the ages of 17 and 20. They suffered cuts and bruises, and several had broken bones.
Failure to yield charges against Mosley are pending.
