A major agribusiness company is looking to move to south Georgia and open a poultry complex.
Approximately 100 contract growers would be needed, which would bring in 1,700 jobs.
The company is partnering with state and local officials to host regional meetings. They will be held at Spence Field in Moultrie on March 22nd and 23rd at seven in the evening.
These meetings will determine if there is enough interest among South Georgia growers from an 11-county area.
