Americus-- The deaths of two Americus women in the last two weeks may be related.

26-year-old Brenda Westbrook was found dead inside this house on Matt Hart Drive Tuesday, just 11 days after the body of 29-year-old Priscilla Clark was found in a Bibb County mobile home park.

Commander Johnny King says, "Matter of fact, we contacted the Bibb County authorities Tuesday and they came down and shared in the investigation along with our investigative unit, noting the similarities in the two cases."

King says both Westbrook and Clark shared similar lifestyles, hanging out at the same nightclubs and other places young people frequent.

He is not sure if the women knew each other.

The first woman was strangled. Investigators haven't released the cause of death on the other.
