Albany - A bird flew into an Albany substation knocking out power to about 7,500 customers. The bird shorted out the electrical substation on Martin Luther King Drive around 10:00AM.
The affected area stretched from downtown Albany east to four-points. It took about 45-minutes for workers to bypass the seared circuits and get the power back on.
