Valdosta - A South Georgia woman was mauled by two rottweilers.

The dogs were being kept behind Folsom's Body Shop in Valdosta for security. Tuesday, they attacked 25-year-old Kathy Whalley while she was working at the shop.

"Apparently the dogs were close with the employee that was with the victim, and it looks like initially, the dogs may have misconstrued something the victims had done and throught the victim was attacking the other employee," said Lt. Brian Childress.

Whalley had serious injuries to both of her legs and her left arm. She had to have surgery and is in fair condition.

The dogs were picked up by animal control and will be euthanized.

The owner received a citation for having a vicious dog.
