Milledgeville- The number one ranked Deerfield-Windsor girls basketball team continues to cruise their way to a GISA state title
Senior Laura Tiernan scored 23 points in the Lady Knights 45-21 semifinal win over First Presbyterian in the AAA semifinals in at Georgia College's Centennial Center.
The Lady Knights are now 27-0 and in three state tournament games have allowed a total of 55 points or 18.3 points a game.
The Lady Knights, whose last state title came in 2000, will play at 5:30pm Saturday afternoon in Milledgeville against Central Fellowship.
